| Information: | Das Debüt-Album von Goldfrapp nun in einer neuen Auflage in weißem Vinyl. Die LP ist seit einiger Zeit vergriffen und wird unlängst für hohe Beträge gehandelt. "Felt Mountain" gilt für viel Fans und Kritiker bis heute als das beste Werk der Künstler. Mit den Singles "Lovely Head", "Human", "Utopia" und "Pilots" setzen die britischen Künstler Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory ein musikalisches Ausrufezeichen und wurden dafür u.a. mit dem britischen Mercury Prize belohnt. Bekannte Musiker wie Adrian Utley (Portishead) und Alexander Balanescu arbeiteten an dem Debüt mit und halfen den eleganten Synthie-Pop mit Streicher-Arrangements zu vervollkommnen. So entwirft das Album eine Stimmung, die sich vom Trip-Hop dieser Ära deutlich absetzt und bis heute nichts von seiner Faszination eingebüßt hat.
