| Information: | In mehreren Interviews hat Nick Cave sein Album "Your Funeral...MyTrial" als sein liebstes bezeichnet. Wenn man das Dreigespann der Songs "Stranger Than Kindness", "The Carny" und "Your Funeral My Trail" hört, weiß man warum - sie gehören zu den besten Liedern eines an großartigen Songs nicht armen Werkes. Die Grundstimmung des Albums ist melancholisch und spiegelt Nick Caves persönliche Verfassung in dieser Periode wieder, da er von Heroin abhängig war. "Scum" rechnet mit einem ehemaligen Mitbewohner ab, der als Musikkritiker im NME das Vorgänger-Album der Bad Seeds schlecht besprochen hatte. Ein an Unterhaltungswerten zudem nicht armes Album! Die Vinyl-Auflagen von Nick waren lange vergriffen und wurden als Raritäten gehandelt. Im Oktober startet der Film "20.000 Days on Earth", gewissermaßen (also mit Augenzwinkern) ein Dokumentarfilm über das Leben und Werk von Nick Cave. |
